Learn to operate your sewing machine and create a finished product in my one- day workshop.

During this hands-on experience, you will learn about your machine's special features and overcome your frustrations with things like thread tension and stitch settings. 

I will teach you to troubleshoot your stitching by sight and sound. You will learn a topstitching technique that gives your project a professional finish. 


Leave the workshop with a completed placemat and the skills to move on to garment creation.

Learn to Use a Sewing Pattern: Beginner-Friendly Class

Unlock the art of garment making by learning how to read, understand, and

confidently use a sewing pattern! This beginner-friendly class is perfect for anyone

who wants to move beyond basic sewing projects and start creating clothing with

professional results.

This class is ideal for beginners who have basic sewing machine experience and

want to take the next step, as well as returning sewists who need a refresher on

pattern reading.


What You’ll Need

• A commercial sewing pattern with fabric, zipper and interfacing, that the pattern requires.

• Basic sewing tools (scissors, pins, tape measure, seam ripper, fabric of your choice) 

Sewing machine (you bring your own)

ready to begin your first garment- making journey with ease and excitement
